Personal Life

Growing up as a military child, I moved every three years for the majority of my life. Although I have moved frequently, I count Valdosta as home. The Air Force gave me a cherished childhood, a cultured perspective, a strong sense of nationality, and an enormous respect for all members of the armed forces. 

 

I recently married my high school sweetheart, Cole Parker, in August of 2015. Cole is the Chief Operations Officer at In The Game Sports Network which covers high school sports across South Georgia and North Florida. We are proud parents of our fur baby,

a 4 year-old yellow lab, Cali.

 

I am very active and enjoy many hobbies. I enjoy painting; I share my love of arts with all of the students in my classroom. I also enjoy cheerleading and gymnastics. During my college career, I cheered on the Gators through the University of Florida Competitive Cheerleading squad. In my spare time I volunteer with Perimeter Road Baptist Church.

My Education

Upon graduating from Lowndes High, I moved to Gainesville, Florida and am proud to say that I received both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Elementary Education through the University of Florida.

Teaching Life

I am extremely excited to teach third grade at Moulton-Branch Elementary. Due to the outstanding teaching program at the University of Florida, I have been actively teaching in the elementary classroom classroom setting for the past five years. This year, I am looking forward to making personal relationships with each student and continuing to develop as a professional educator.
